Engineered to further reduce the car's tendency for lift-off oversteer and improve ride quality, the new rear suspension dramatically improved the car's on-limit handling and day-to-day comfort. While the interior was largely unchanged stylistically to the preceeding 964, an adjustment to the placement of the car's greenhouse offered additional width, creating a roomier feel to prior cars.Once again offered in several body styles and with an option of rear- or all-wheel drive and a choice between a six-speed manual or a four-speed 'Tiptronic' automatic, the 993 continued Porsche's tradition for offering a car for every type of buyer. Only produced for four short years, the 993-generation 911 ceased production for the 1998 model year in favor of the upcoming water-cooled 996-generation car. Today, these cars are exceedingly well regarded by critics, enthusiasts, and collectors alike for their last-of-their-kind legacy, relative rarity, and, of course, their incredible driving feel. The investment-grade 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet featured here is finished in its gorgeous factory color combination of Arena Red Metallic over an impeccably kept Cashmere (Beige) leather interior with a Black power convertible top. This exquisite motorcar has been driven a mere 9,540 miles from new and is among one of the finest examples we've offered in years. This Porsche 911 checks all the boxes in regards to investment: exceptional condition, low miles, highly desirable color combination, and is from the last year of air-cooled 911 production, making this the perfect investment example. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires only the very best an investment price!
