Seller descriptionShow

The BMW M3 CSL is widely regarded as one of the most desirable and uncompromising M models of the modern era. With its consistent lightweight construction, high-revving inline-six engine and razor-sharp driving dynamics, it continues to represent the pure essence of BMW M GmbH.Finished in the iconic Silver Grey Metallic, the example offered here was originally delivered new to its first private owner in the Montabaur region of Germany. The car was later exported to the Netherlands before returning to Germany in 2025. It was subsequently acquired through a renowned BMW M specialist and restoration workshop in Castrop-Rauxel by its current collector owner in Berlin. With only three previous owners and approximately 70,000 kilometres from new, this M3 CSL ranks among the particularly well-preserved examples available today. In early 2026, the car underwent an extensive mechanical overhaul by the aforementioned BMW M specialist in Castrop-Rauxel. The engine was comprehensively rebuilt, while the braking system, drivetrain and numerous other key mechanical components were carefully inspected, refurbished and overhauled. The gearbox was also rebuilt and fitted with a new clutch, which has since been properly run in. All work was carried out with the objective of preserving the vehicle's outstanding mechanical condition for many years to come.Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the bodywork, paintwork and interior remain completely original. The car is still finished in its factory-applied first paint and presents in an exceptionally authentic state of preservation. The interior is equally original and reflects the careful ownership the car has enjoyed throughout its life. The vehicle is accompanied by an extensive documentation file, including a fully BMW-stamped service booklet, numerous BMW service invoices, various German TÜV inspection reports, a copy of its original German registration document, and a printed BMW service and maintenance history. Together, these records underline the meticulous care and maintenance the car has received over the years. An exceptionally well-preserved BMW M3 CSL with documented German history, low mileage, outstanding originality and comprehensively refurbished mechanicals – a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most sought-after BMW M models of the past decades in truly exceptional condition. You can find more cars and information on our homepage. www.cog-classics.com.
