Like its 993 predecessor, the 996 Turbo utilized all wheel drive to help corral the 415hp produced by its twin-turbocharged flat-6 (now a 3.6L unit based on the 'Mezger' racing engine used in the GT3 rather than an enlarged variant of the 3.4L motor in the standard Carrera).Unlike prior 911 Turbos, the 996-generation car was made available with an automatic transmission: a five-speed 'Tiptronic S' unit in addition to the standard six-speed manual. With either transmission, 0-60mph could be attained in approximately 4 seconds and attain a top speed around 190mph. With standard Porsche Stability Management, a new 'bi-level' power spoiler for increased downforce at speed, and numerous luxury features, the 996 911 Turbo was easier and more pleasant to use than any Turbo before. Today, the 996 Turbo is well regarded as one of the finest variants of Porsche's first water-cooled 911.The exceptional 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe featured here is finished in stunning Black over an impeccably preserved Black leather interior. This investment-grade 911 Turbo is certainly one of the best examples in the world with only 1,799 actual miles and meticulous care. Ordered new through the Porsche Exclusive 'Sonderwunsch' program as denoted by the 09991 option code, this spectacular Porsche was special-ordered with an incredible 13 'X-Code' options. Offered only to VIP clients, cars with such extensive Exclusive options are quite rare and are highly valued by collectors and investors alike. I personally believe the investment potential of this rare and highly desirable model will grow beyond your imagination. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best an investment price!

This ask is running about $62,034 over the comparable average, so spec, provenance, and presentation need to justify the premium.

Photo coverage is still thin at 1 image, so presentation quality is harder to judge without opening the source listing.

Documentation still reads thin here, so this is the kind of listing where invoice detail and specialist history should drive the next round of diligence.
