Please visit our website to view a full HD photoset of this vehicle www.classicsandbeyond.com You can also head to our YouTube page for videos of all our vehicles 1985 BMW 635CSi – Classic E24 Coupe – Florida Car – Strong Runner Offered here is a classic 1985 BMW 635CSi, part of BMW's iconic E24 ''shark nose'' lineup-known for its sleek styling, balanced performance, and grand touring comfort. Finished in original white paint, this car presents as a solid driver, though it does show its age. The clearcoat has failed, and there is visible rust around the rear fender wells, so it will need paint and body work to bring it to the next level cosmetically. That said, the underbody is very solid, and being an original Florida car that has only recently been in Michigan, it has avoided the heavy corrosion typically seen in northern vehicles. It sits on its original BMW wheels, though the tires show dry rot and should be replaced for safe driving. Inside, the car features a brown leather interior with a black dash, a classic and upscale combination for the era. The seats are in excellent condition, showing very well, while the dash does have some typical cracks. Overall, the interior is a strong point for the car. Under the hood is the smooth and reliable 3.4L inline 6-cylinder engine, paired with an automatic transmission. These engines are well-known for their durability and refined power delivery, producing around 180+ horsepower in U.S. spec. The car runs and drives very well, with tight steering and solid braking, making it a great candidate for continued driving or restoration. Originally designed as a luxury grand tourer, the 635CSi came equipped with features such as power windows, central locking, air conditioning, and a driver-focused cockpit layout, making it a high-end car for its time. Condition Notes: Speedometer currently not working Moonroof operates intermittently A/C not blowing cold (needs service) Check engine light is on Tires will need replacement Paint and body need attention Highlights: 1985 BMW 635CSi (E24) Classic ''shark nose'' design 3.4L inline 6-cylinder engine Automatic transmission Original white paint Florida car – solid underbody Brown leather interior (excellent condition) Original wheels Runs and drives strong Great restoration or driver project This is a great opportunity to own a classic BMW coupe at an entry-level price, with a strong running drivetrain and solid bones. With some cosmetic and minor mechanical attention, this car could easily be brought back to its former glory. If you are interested please reach out to our knowledgeable sales staff today! This one currently reads below the comparable average by about $9,953, which makes documentation and condition the next things to verify.
Photo coverage is still thin at 1 image, so presentation quality is harder to judge without opening the source listing.
Documentation still reads thin here, so this is the kind of listing where invoice detail and specialist history should drive the next round of diligence.
